There's been a lot of tweaking going on under the bonnet this week on the site so visually things haven't changed greatly but it's now a smoother site through the gears. as it were.
Content update
The following things have been added to the site:
Photos
Silverstone Classic - 2008 Photos are up and there's a lot of them mainly from the BRDC500.
Profile Updates
The profile was an underrate thing a few years ago and was merely to allow users to update their emails or check for basic messages or info. Not any more. YOur profile has now been updated to give you a one stop area to access all things on the site
My Photo
We have linked the Members Album section to your profile. This is under a profile tab called My Photo. This tab will display any photos you upload to your Member Album in your profile.
Along with the My Photo feature we have amended the information on the Help Section of the site regarding photos and their uploads and added a new help subsection My Photo Help.

Adding Photos to your My Photos Section of your profile?
This section gives you an overview of uploading photos to the site including files sizes and external editors which can be used to edit or resize your images.

This section is a step by step guide to uploading photos into your Member Album. including a full description of all the album action controls.
Batch uploading and using external programs to upload
This section details some of the methods of transferring photos to your Member Album from your own computer.
Connections
It ain' t what you know its who you know so the saying goes. We've now implemented the friends system on the profile page. This allows you to link to other members and then send them private messages and internal emails or leave a quick note for them to remind them to put the cat out or to get another pint of milk. thorough to leaving details of race meetings upcoming trips or anything else. via the Quick contact system
Quick contact
This allows members to send each others contact box on each persons profile. No more scrabbling around trying to find someone's email send them a message from the site and they will receive a copy into their inbox with your return email address. Simple and quick.
My events
Is a link to the Events section and gives you the ability to upload your own events (with appropriate permissions) to the Events Calendar.
Additional Information
This tab allows you to add information in your profile to your own website and provide more contact details for you. Chose how much contact you have, set your own level.
Member list
The Member List is now open and will be automatically updated when Members register with the site from here you can see if they are online, send them a message or even a Connection request. It can be found at the top of every page next to the Help section.
